STEM CELL RESEARCH MEETING – 12th March, 2010

The CEO, Barbara Flynn, and Vice-Chairman, Tom Kelleher, attended a Stem-Cell Taskforce meeting on 12th March co-hosted by FARA – Australia, FARA, Ataxia UK, FASI and NAF in Chicago. This took place after the NAF Investigators meeting and the aim was to launch a joint project to fund high quality research with stem cells towards developing a treatment for Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Dr. Alison Stevenson, Research Officer with Ataxia UK, also attended and spoke at our AGM/Social on 17th April to update our members on developments.
